This major provides an interdisciplinary approach to International Studies.  The students are exposed to a
curriculum that’s diverse and appropriate for advancement to a Bachelors Degree Programme.

Students pursuing their undergraduate degree in International Studies will complete 32 Credits in Core Subjects
including 12 Credits in Spanish or French and 33 credits in the General Studies Areas.

Foreign Language Requirement

Student must complete a 12 hours requirement involving studies in a foreign language and its history with
minimum equivalence to two years of college or university basic language instruction.

Study Abroad Requirement
Student must complete a requisite study abroad experience equivalent to at least
two credits.  This requirement can be met by using more than one study abroad experience.

Capstone Experience Requirement
Students must complete an approved research project reflecting their area of concentration and interest.  

This is a significant research project that focuses on a particular country, region, or global area and contributes to
the coursework Grade.
