
| COLBOURNE COLLEGE STUDENT SERVICES OFFICE (SSO) has primary responsibilities for: Freshman Orientation Prior to the start of the first semester, a freshman seminar is conducted to introduce the student to the college and its procedures, campus facilities and services, social structure of the college, administrative procedures and career guidance. Clubs and Associations Social Groups and activities on campus include The Netball Club, Christian Association, Debate Society, Choir, Chess Club and Drama Group. The Student Government The Student Union Association (SUA) represents the views and interest of the students on Campus. SUA is highly involved in the coordination of all social activities on campus and is instrumental in the promotions of the objectives of the college, while addressing the needs of the students. All SUA members are elected by the student body. Accommodation Off campus boarding facilities are available for interested freshman students at reasonable rates. The Hubert Perry Resource Centre The library provides a wide variety of relevant information using the latest technologies, providing the student with full online 24/7 access to the world’s largest online collections of books and journal articles, along with magazines and newspaper articles. Our library room at colbourne provides support to our online services with a modest collection of over 500 pertinent and current referencematerials to support the academic agenda of the college. Services provided by the library include; 1. Internet Access 2. Reference Material 3. General Lending 4. Photocopying Students Resources Colbourne Student Services operates a designated Student Services Office. The SSO operates a business centre that handles student queries, service provision such as internet, photocopying, a lending library, book shop, general computer services and extended service such as career guidance.
